Meet singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist KATYA, who stepped onto some of the main stages at 2023’s most popular UK festivals. KATYA is known for her refreshingly personal solo performances where she combines her soulful vocals and layered guitar with electronic beats, jazz overtones and atmospheric soundscapes, courtesy of numerous triggered effects. Her debut single, 'I'll Take Your Number', – released on Glastonbury Festival’s Acoustic Stage – garnered national and international radio support with spins on BBC Radio 1 and Deutschlandfunk Kultur (Germany). The track was included in The Independent’s ‘Now Hear This’ selection and on Spotify’s Fresh Finds UK & IE playlist.

KATYA has been awarded Henley Festival’s 2024 Westcoast Rising Star Award - “celebrating outstanding achievement and great potential”. KATYA has a busy year ahead with the imminent release of her poignant next single ‘Garden In The Sky’ and upcoming debut EP. She has been shortlisted to perform at SXSW, will appear at BBC Introducing x Southbank Centre’s futuretense showcase, and has confirmed slots at various notable festivals this summer.
